i am quite a bit escited. it's gonna have to be sooooo damn impressive to know the Faye Sing off my board, but i've heard nothing but good things about their stuff.

lol. the Laid Back Super Cool Guy verbage on their site is hit or miss. i dig some of it, some of it comes off... hurm. dunno. odd?

but in email he seems like a very nice dooder. quick response, i feel all listened to. cuddled even. MMMMMMMMMM. CUDDLED.

Glad you guys got an answer straight from the horse's mouth regarding the expression control. The GilaMondo is the first phaser I've owned that I can jam with for long stretches without turning any other pedals on....it's that good. Then I'll kick on some fuzz or delay and I'm not leavin' the house....

Yeah I know, but it's mainly due to the fact that I'm broke right now. Otherwise, I'd have a Gila Mondo and a Tunnel Worm (and the new Downward Spiral looks interesting too). I really like Jack's stuff but like to try out other builders as well. Right now I'm leaning toward a Sibling if I can scrape up the funds. Can't wait for user vids for the GM.

YESH. GIMME DEM METALS.

yah. it's only going to have bass pushed through it at mines, so that USUALLY gets into a bit throatier range than treble sticks do.

we will see.

and you can poop on my party any day grrrrrrrrrrL.

my favorite phaser sound is the one where it sounds like you're swirling around in space kind of like a wah sweeping but a little more lush than funky.
this one sounds you're covered in goo and rubbin up on the walls in a resonant metal room or something

thanks for the poo shout out!

It can definitely get metallic with the Bonus cranked up (which adds gain or resonance almost like a flanger) and it can also get very wet with the Width cranked. With both of those controls below noon it can do a great thick warm phase tone. Mine killed in practice last night and I'm starting to use it during passages where I've not previously used modulation.

No mistaking this for a 4-stage phaser though, that's for sure...
