DO IT. it def doesn't have that sucking tone (TWSS) that a OTA phaser which i really miss, has but the depth knobs and resonance controls are really interactive and make it that much more usable. my advice would be to get one with the square wave mod, it's awesome and really opens up rhythmic playing. also it stacks wells. TWSS? it's def the cheapest of this great but sadly overpriced brand right now.

Yeah, I've always wanted Lovetone pedals and never wanted to pay the asking price. Some things never change.

Thanks, guys!

I really can't see anything else I need for that board, unless the band changes the style. It feels good to be finished.

I think the price is the reason I have never really taken a close look at those Lovetone pedals. That and maybe the size.

"The business" guitar board

Post by rustywire »

Changed order, added Drag'n'Fly:
Image
Image

'69 > Shape EQ > TB loop (DMM) > Green Russian > Spring Chicken > Tremolessence > Drag'n'Fly > Street Sweeper > E600B

Back row is always-on (sans TB loop): the '69 fuzz face is controlled via guitar vol knob, EX-P brings in the SC's reverb, EV-5 alters the Tremolessence's Rate.

This board covers anything I'm currently willing/able to throw at it.....and combined with THE Selmer head's breakup it is making me want to get serious and write some material. I'm about ready...
Aside from the expression pedals & SS phaser, it's set-and-forget. Gear that doesn't get in the way of my creativity.

For contrast (and extra fun) I want to tandem this with an experimental, tweaker board built of a Pigtronix Infinity Looper > Superego (with Goodbye 24+Phase-O-Matic Deluxe in the loop) and v3 Cosmichorus

I will call them Business & Pleasure.

Here be my set up right now. Only addition going to be made is an OD of some sort and a ILFDD. Then I'm pretty good on pedals for awhile. Oh and for you Doom guys. Walkure plus Magnetar=HOLY FUCKING DOOM :)

So the Small Clone came today! It's pretty swaggy as is but I still think I'm gonna have some fun inside it (TWSS). Also, it's got this weird headphone jack lookin hole where the DC-in should be. Prolly gonna "fix" that too. The BIT is cool as well. It's got a tiny volume drop going on but there is a trim pot inside. I can't decide if I like it before everything or after my drives. Everything else is fun too in case you're wondering!

The small clone sounds so good with some fuzzies too. I badly recorded me messing around with it from my iphone. With friends Ghost Echo, Algal Bloom, and my amp a'cookin!
