Just sayin'.

Im just the opposite. I like girls in jeans, wife beaters, and hats. And short hair.

...I fall for lesbians all the time.

Kate recently cut her hair short, and she tends to wear tanks and jeans. She also likes to wear my shirts with no pants.

With her hair short, she looks a lot like this, too.

Like brushing your teeth. If you never brush them, what makes you start? Wanting a nice smile, yeah? Wanting to chew food lol. Tired of paying dental bills or tired of the pain. Like wanting to be a active musician. I make myself play music, even if i dont feel like it. I make myself write songs. Even if it sucks, it's there and I made it. When you finally make something you're proud of, you'll want go out and share it. And you do it over a over, it'll become habitual. After awhile, I started to inspire myself. And lately thing have been flowing. Find your flow, roll with it, and don't break from it. Youre probably not a puss, just in a funk. Maybe this doesn't apply to you but for me, I'm tired of the pain I bring myself from not being active. My only calling in life is music. It's create music or death. There are no other options.

I think you're on to something, especially the beginning part. Thank you

i have trouble pronouncing words like "earth" and "birthday", because i developed a rather dark "r" (in the process of trying to sound a bit Irish) and the dental fricatives after it mess my shit up

Sometimes I catch myself saying things with a little southern accent creeping in. "High" is "haah". "Gui-tar". I HATE that GI-tar thing.
Blehhh.
"Mountain" is always "moun'n" though. Lots of things with the "g" cut off of the end.
I have trouble with words ending in "ths", it never ends up sounding natural.

I also have to speak in a higher pitch around other people because my voice is naturally low and I'd otherwise have to keep repeating shit...but when I speak in a higher pitch it sounds nasal

Speaking of accents, I am starting to realize how Canadian my friends and I sound when we talk.
I've come to the sudden realization, that I have something of an accent. Not sure how to feel about that.

inside every bitter curmudgeon is a disappointed idealist. it's normal to be disappointed after a certain point because, well, life is full of disappointments. but lately i've been easing off on some of my judgements of things and find that really helps. even the stuff i find despicable nowadays pales in the light of mankind's history. i've also gotten to like that annoying neo-hippy saying, "be the change you want to see in the world."

 Thanks bud. I also have been trying to follow that saying as well, but I've noticed that it unfortunately doesnt rub off on other people. The main problem that caused my conclusion after talking to some others involved is best settled like you said, just easing off judgements of things that are out of my control. Also you nailed it pretty spot on witht he disappointed idealist!
