The '62 is my #1. It's got Lindy Fralin standard T pickups set as well as Graphtech saddles. SOUNDS HUGE. I don't think you'd do much harm at all with a new set of strings and a soundhole PU. Nothing irreversible anyway.

1979 Gibson The Paul
Some non-original parts and somebody punched a hole in it to move the pickup selector up top at some point, but man this thing is killer! The pickups are an old set of DiMarzio Super Distortions, and they sound fantastic. Walnut body and neck, and an ebony board. Lean and mean. Really really digging this one so far.
Shout out to homeboy Chankgeez who made the rounds with me last week while I was trying to figure out which LP to go after. Thanks man!
