4 way switch with a "p tone" pickup in the neck position. Switch is wired for a P solo'd, Neck and bridge together, bridge and middle together and Bridge solo. The bridge/middle has a real cool stingray vibe and the P tone neck pickup sounds fairly similar to my Super P.

This was a prototype Sheldon did for another guy. Also has a Walnut neck with a wenge board.

I got my t40 for $350 shipped to Hawaii off eBay so yeah 600 is stupid high. I would offer 300 and be willing to pay 400 for a mint instrument.

600 is kooky-talk. The fact that the guy is saying that he's seen them listed at 800-1500 is hysterical. I could list the opportunity to suck my cock on eBay for 1500, that doesn't mean someone's gonna take me up on it. I paid 300 plus shipping for my T-40 about 4-ish years ago. I would never go above 400 plus shipping for one. And I fucking dig T-40s.
