Thanks man, I appreciate it. Been having those long talks with my wife as well. Paying off debts, limiting spending, searching for a new job to hold over my searching for a CAREER, starting a family, moving. Been a lot of stress on the job front for me. But like you said it will get better.

I've been getting to the point where I really just want to sell a bunch of my stuf and jam with just my Obstructures, a Mini, a Trinity Reverb, and one of my amps.

I am EXACTLY where you are. My wife and I are newly weds just like you two.

I too want to sell all of my stuff and just have the minimal but I find that I miss it later on. Because its so easy to flip and sell and its and immediate change makes us good in the short run. More is not a bad thing, you just have to put in perspective.

I sold off all of my shit only to buy it back.

i always tell myself, if theres something holding you back from doing X, Y or Z. you probably REALLY NEED TO BE DOING X, Y AND/OR Z. LIKE RIGHT NOW.

obstacles are not there to deter you, they are there to show you (and everyone else) just how much it means to you...i think thats like a tony robbins quote or something. i heard it at the end of a chillwave song one time.

i write this b/c i feel i am in a somewhat similar state as you guys here. future life shit. present shit. also, i have been on the gear dump for over a year now. realized that besides a few key pieces, i don't need all this. just need what i need, and it has helped me focus more on just making music again. the beauty of the concept of throwing on a few records, and just creating from what is there. really all u need is a soul, a heart, and something to make a sound with.

Well congrats man :)

And yeah, I know what you mean. I've got pedals that I use strictly for guitar, and strictly for noise, and I think sometimes I forget that THAT is why I've got stuff sitting around. I bought a lot of my stuff back or traded for the same pedals over again cause I realized I had a use for them. They seem to be the only ones still around

I feel you man, I feel you. I've been stuck on Route A, been trying to go for Route B, but every time I drive toward Route B I just feel like my car gets crushed by a boulder or a run out of gas. I feel like I could try to go to Route C, but there is so much more freedom on that road, like a highway, (and with that) more responsibilies and self sufficiency that I'm not sure I could take. I just need to boost both of our morales. At least she was able to get a new job which is a lot less stressful, that's a great positive.

I'M STOKED TO HAVE YOU AND YOUR WIFE OVER
I found another schematic for the pedal that I'm giving you the board for that is actually a decent amount smaller than the schematic you gave me, so I cut down a board to that size and cut the traces and loaded the one link for ya! All you have to do is load the parts in

Yeah. I had to take a day off work to do it though. City hall hasn't heard of things like phones and internet. Had to go there in person to deal with it.

I know how that goes. I went through dealing with the Commonwealth of Richmond with some left over license plate stuff last month. Was not fun.

Cool man. You can load the board as we sit around and talk/play a game or whatever. Maybe we will teach you Spinners!!

i'm having deep, profound GAS for one of these, but totally don't have $650 for a stunt looping guitar especially since i'd probably have to replace the PUs on both sides.

Just think, how does this forum fit into the grand scheme of things? Just post wherever, it doesn't matter.
