I've wanted to get my hands on one for a long goddamned time. Unfortunately, used prices on them have skyrocketed in the last few years. Five years ago, you could get them for a few hundred bucks. Now they're going for 800-1000. Fucking bastards.
It seems to me that with sliders on your guitar you might run into more issues with accidentally turning your volume or tone up or down. Unless, or course, you placed them wayyy far out of the way.
I could see that too, but I think I know how I'm going to incorporate it into my guitar so that won't be a problem. I'm doing this to a blacktop jazzmaster, and if I put the slider so the max position is pointing towards the input jack on the guitar I don't think I'll have to worry about accidentally bumping it.
It's "high-grade" and made for long-term use. I might order one, see how it works out. If it works out, I'll order a few more in case I ever need to replace it.
