i landed a rhodes 73 via craigslist a couple years ago. with original speaker cabinet & pedals. they are sick. EVERYTHING you play on them sounds gorgeous. mine's the version w/ the treble / bass sliders, vibrato and effects send/return. i haven't found anything i've run it through to be a bad move. phasers and delays are both SSIICCKK. :!!!:

Oh man this thread gives me the biggest GAS boner.

I've always dreamed of having a 70s clavinet that I can run through a wah.

And a Rhodes.

Check out One Day as a Lion if you want some gnarley fuzzed out Rhodes

Also Chick Corea in his Miles Davis Era. You can see him toying with pedals in the documentary "Miles Electric A Different Kind of Blue" and in the Isle of Wight concert.

Yeah, Chick Corea + Rhodes + Ring Mod is awesome!

I think Jack White had a fuzzed out Rhodes on stage during White Stripes later performances.

Like Icky Thump? I"m not sure what that is, but I'm pretty sure it's not a Rhodes.
