Freeze -> BAT Deluxe/Ritual -> El Cap/Particle for interesting droning
Black Forest -> Grand Orbiter -> Ibanez DE7 for your classic doom jams

You got me on that one, that's the simple do-it-all setup but i don't want to have 2 pedalboards.
Not sure I'm going to use the freeze to it's potential and it's buffer fucks with fuzzes (makes the input signal hotter than it needs to be).

Ah I was just giving two ideas instead of two boards! You could always stick the Freeze at the end of the chain!

just a matter of personal choice, really :) I for one can't wait when we start rehearsing the song where i stack a slow phaser with a leslie-like flanger :love:

but if you don't stack, use just the mobius, that's really all you need :) I put the phaser there, because it's nice and easily adjustable go-to pedal

Always welcome.
I would go with the particle with a short delay with a bit of modulation. Use the El Capistand for the tap stuff.
Möbius can do a shitton. You just have to invest time in it. I love it. Easily you can replace the goatkeeper with it (except for the LFO out).
I also thought about adding the Black Forest as the last pedal in the chain. So you could use the powerful EQ of it and add a bit of "grit"...

I think I would probably edit that chain a little to go:

Particle -> Pharoah Deluxe / Ritual -> Black Forest ->Elements -> Möbius -> el capistan

Having played both the Black Forest and the Elements, they're different enough that you could probably get some really nice contrast between the two that would justify having them both on the board. Plus I'll bet that Black Forest running into Elements will simply SLAM sonically.

right now i haven't got the elements yet, it's in the mail, but this is what it looks like:

having a hard time letting the de7 go, does those nice pre-amp delays where shit just turns into mush.

DAT ETCH! Ohhhhhhhhh one of my favs still. Love it.

I like this board dude.

Black Forest->Pharoah Deluxe->DE7->Mobius->Freeze->Particle

you really want to have multiple gain stages so you can stack OD/distortion and fuzz settings. i like to have delay after fuzz so i can do volume swells into the delay, and the relative crunkiness of the DE7 would be good there. if you can live with a single modulation box which only gives you one function at a time, the Mobius is obvious. for me, though, i'd need separate stuff since tremolo is such a frequent part of my sound. i really like a delay at the end so i can turn everything into soup, and the Freeze before delay would be great for drones...i'd choose the Particle here because it can go clean or weird.
