The DIY forum is for personal projects (things that are not for sale, not in production), info sharing, peer to peer assistance. No backdoor spamming (DIY posts that are actually advertisements for your business). No clones of in-production pedals. If you have concerns or questions, feel free to PM admin. Thanks so much!
john already posted his techniques used for that although he does it differently now with a add-on plaque on the newer pedals. I will repeat from memory. the box is powder coated with gold hammertone and baked. you could substitute paint or a box that comes pre-powder coated. IIRC the graphics are an overhead projector sheet printed on a laser printer. trim it, lay it on the box. then he sprays lacquer for a clear that serves double duty to dissolve the plastic and soften the edges of the overhead projector plastic.
I got the same results with laser printed bake-on waterslide decals.
Boom! eatyourguitar got it. Those are both powder coated enclosures and I use lacquer and water slide decals. Spray can hammer tones can be had which generally look better but are less durable.
