Took me awhile to post it up i've been far too busy playing. What a guitar! Its brutally heavy (in both ways) but a total dream to play.
Where did you get the Matamp cabinet in Australia?! I've been looking for one but couldn't find any dealers. There used to be one in QLD and I always had intentions of getting a retro cabinet but never had the cash until now which just so happens to be the time I fail to find them anywhere

Good deals with:Achtane x2, King Rat, Fuzzhugger, Dr Scientist, Dog Boy, Raintes, strings2wood, vaguitarman and many more.
I'd like this list to grow so sell to me please :]
haha i know! i tossed the amp on craigs saying i'd swap it for pedals or mics or cables figuring i'd be lucky to get $75 for it (even though it IS awesome how those have so many options) and the first and only guy to jump right on it drove all the way from springfield to cbus to swap me those three guitars he was letting go! via email he even valued them at $275, $250 and $175 (which is BS aside from the epiphone SG the other two are probably worth like $100 each at best) and he'd upgraded hardware and pickups on both the SG and the no-brand les paul. craziness. middle aged maried guy, was super nice to meet, told me he just has way too many guitars since he got into modifying them and building his own.
Just picked up this beauty '68 Harmony Bobkat on the weekend. It was covered in some really cheap paint; looked like the guy spilled paint all over it or something. I cleaned it up, fixed up the frets, put it back together, set it up, and now it plays so well!
Here are my other guitars, bass, banjo, and amp. I don't have a colour photo but the Gretsch G5129 has a red top and black sides and back. The Epiphone Biscuit Resonator has an upgraded National Cone and a Schatten pickup (sounds really cool with fuzz!)

That's a tone I hadn't thought of yet. You have any sound clips?
i haven't played with it beyond testing it before the trade, rocked the SG at practice tonight, only fault is the high E mutes towards the highest frets, wouldn't have guessed that from the neck & the action. will report back on the les paul... immediately though it actually feels nicer than my old epi LP.

I've been wanting to get one of those resonator covers with the built-in pickup for my resonator mandolin, but it costs more than the mandolin.

it's a bolt on too. doesn't play bad, thinner than my epi.
