It's definitely a Belton brick, but I haven't taken the whole pedal apart yet to look at the rest of it to see if there is anything else. My thoughts are they probably just stretched the data sheet on the Belton brick a bit

So someone could probably get a very similar reverb built by someone here for like 1/5 of what people are paying for eBay?

Yeah fuck that stupid shit. I suppose it's the 'collectability' but I doubt these hold on to this high value.

Someone just mentioned they'll be production next fall so you're probably right.

I've NEVER sold any DBA for anywhere near what I paid tho haha and that includes custom finishes and glow-in-the-dark variations. Now that they're starting to come down in price, it might be more realistic. Maybe...

Yeah, I lost money on mine too and then I started missing it, sucked!

I've got an Apocalypse now days, totally badass, basically has the Fuzz War, Octave Clang, along with a few other modes. I got it used and I'll still probably lose money if I sell it haha. I like it tho, probably hand onto it for a good long while.

I was thinking about flipping the Sunshine so I could use the cash to buy some parts in bulk, but it doesn't seem like it will be worth it much now that there will be a production line. It's cool enough to hang on to though, but yeah, it wouldn't be hard to make at all.

Got mine today! Apparently I ordered early enough to get the signed Ty Segall record as well (and like Shannon I've never heard any of his music before, going to stay that way for now since I don't have a working record player).

I've only played with it for a few minutes, I like it, but not enough to kick the RRR off my board, and I'm undecided as of yet whether this or the Spring Theory will win out as my secondary verb. Although I've only played the Sunshine on its own straight into my amp, so I may change my mind once I pair it up with some fuzz and delay.

I hate to be an opportunist, but I'm tempted to throw mine up on ebay and/or local CL for too much money myself. Neither of the ones I've seen for sale yet came with the signed record, so maybe I can profit off some poor sap too.

If there's going to be a production model, def throw it up to try to capitalize on it while you can.

that thought crossed my mind too, after being bitter about people who bought them just to resell... still haven't made up my mind though, adding a volume control to mine if i can decide on an acceptable space for it. surprised it's that crowded in there, though it's partially just from BIG knobz.

I dunno, there's something I kinda like about oversized enclosures. Love the size of the Fuzz War enclosures! The giant knobs are great too (TWSS)

Haha, I don't have a record player either so the Ty Segall album is just chilling for now.

Agreed, I think this pedal def compliments my big box RRR but I've never found anything that could replace it in 4 years of trying verb after verb. RRR is just perfect for my needs. I have a Context coming soon, thinking that will compliment the RRR as well, not replace it.

I discussed this with Dunwich Nick, think he's gonna remove the board and squeeze the volume pot right in the empty spot on the enclosure. Probably won't be board mounted like the rest but it should be a super simple AND effective mod. I'll let you know how it goes. :thumb:
