If it had a Mustang vibrato, it would be mine too.

I must admit that I'm mostly putting up with the strat trem, hence the cover. Also, It's blocked. I got the Jag for the widdly-widdlies.
Mustang trem Cyclone II would be awesome. Fender needs to get on on that shit, STAT.

Ah but alas, they'll just spend their time putting out another damn strat.

Although you're probably right, sometimes Fender listens to us. Generally takes the better part of a decade for them to wisen up, though. Look at the CP Jag HH... Guess they finally got tired of loosing face to Squier.

Awesome Cyclone and Jag right there. That amp has a killer grill-cloth though. What is it?
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Thanks! It's a 1977 Traynor YBA-1 (Bassmaster) of the Plexi/Bassman circuit variant.
The cab is home made, loaded with late 70's Fender Twin Eminences. I recovered the cab because the cloth that was on there was this shitty burlap type crap. I recovered the head to match.

I've been thinking about picking up a YBA-1, how loud can it get before it gets dirty?

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
Well I play mine with the inputs jumped, so it's full-on filthy with like, both volumes at 9 o'clock.
Without the inputs jumped and going into the "regular bright channel" I would say it starts gritting up around 1 o'clock.
That's a 50w non-master volume tube amp running clean at a bit more than half power. My understanding is that 60's (non-bumper) models stay clean a bit louder than that. Compared to a silverface twin, that's pussy headroom but compared to pretty much anything else, it's pretty damn good.

My latest acquisition:

Squier Classic Vibe 50's Telecaster. Loving it so far. Considering changing the pickups, but still great for now.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.
