Had the chance to make a couple demos for the good Dr., using the Warwick Artist Series Jack Bruce Survivor bass in passive and active mode. All in all, the Frazz is a pretty smokin' pedal on bass, whether or not you're in active or passive mode. Plus, the blend is a nice feature but it's not needed that much; it keeps the lows fairly well.

These are awesome, Jon, thank you! They'll be on the new website soon!
Really loved seeing an appearance by grumpy cat, I dig that guy's style.

Gigging. A lot.
And having a baby. Well, the wife had the baby; I just held her hand and said "Way to push!"
And writing a buttload of articles. Have been a staff writer for Bass Musician Magazine for a while now, but just joined the Seymour Duncan family as well, and they require around 4 articles a month...!

Being a writer for a music gear magazine must be one of the coolest careers out there!

Ha! That all depends. There's definitely a coolness to it because I get some inroads to manufacturers and people that I might not get on just my strapping good looks alone, but then there's the other side when you're looking at having to write four articles a month and you have a 21 day/24 gig (yep, that math is correct) schedule coming up where you're trying to think about the articles at every free moment so when you have that five minutes available, you write it up quickly.
But yeah, overall it's pretty damn slick. I get to write about someone's passion, whether it's playing bass or wiring up some crazy effects. Which, by the way, the Artist Rep from GHS Strings heard the Frazz demos and promised me that if he ever comes over to the house, he's stealing it from me.

Maybe you can start regaling us with some stories like that guy on TB.

What kind of stories do you want regaled? I don't have a lot of really interesting ones, given that since I work remotely, many of my correspondences are email based. Although when he's in town, I usually have lunch with the GHS Artist Rep.
We like tacos.

That's a good start. Just don't invite him over to the house, he'll try to steal that Frazz. (Although, that might make for a good story.)
