Those aren't women my friend, those are girls. And they do it because they can, it usually ends up with them getting stuff for free, and it makes them feel powerful. They don't do anything unless they have something to gain out of it, and if they ain't sweatin your dick (even though they FUCKING ACT LIKE IT) then they are doing it for some kind of freebie, or just to be a bitch.

So my dad and I are helping this couple move out of their condo and into a fancy house (in Ghent, home of the yuppies, but that's of no relevance). Their condo is on the fourth floor, but it really seems like more because the staircase leading up to it is narrow and the turns are super small. Probably like 50 steps in all.
The dude wants to move his TV out next, and he says that it's a flat screen, but it's an older model, the kind where the screen itself is flat but it still has all the toobs and shit in the back. So, pointless, but anyway...
He says it's pretty heavy and I'm all, "pff, there's no way it could ever be as bad as the Trinitron in my room."
Trinitrons are legendarily heavy televisions, but of quality construction and seem to have a dedicated following. They're known for splitting poorly-made desks and shit.
So I go to pick it up and see the label.
MOTHERFUCKING TRINITRON. FUCK ME. 200 POUNDS OF PURE MISANTHROPY IN AN AWKWARDLY-SHAPED, HANDLE-LESS METALLIC BOX. WE DON'T HAVE A DOLLY EITHER.
I managed to make it down those goddamn stairs while bear-hugging that TV, without blowing out my back OR dropping the TV through the floor, through the sewers, through the crust and mantle straight into Earth's core, which undoubtedly would have triggered a chain of events leading to the apocalypse. I had to stop and gather my chi just to load it into the trailer.
But I could barely carry it up the three steps leading to their new house...

I once gave my parents' old Trinitron to a friend. The thing was/is older than I am, and I swear to God it was both the nicest and meanest thing I've ever done to someone at the same time.

Yah, I have a Trinitron as well, I'm going to miss it when I leave for school in the fall. When we had it "installed" two guys from BestBuy delivered it and carried it into our house, two men, two.

I once dropped our old Trinitron while carrying it up a flight of stairs.
Guess what broke.

Last night show was weird :(

almost no response from the audience whatsoever... almost no audience to begin with... we played early and we opened the whole thing, so that makes sense... it was our department's annual event with various acts and a lot of bands

BUT the jams were VERY awesome :) we were totally connected dynamics-wise :)

i'm starting to feel we're more of a club-band anyway :/

So, A guy offered me pretty new TimeFactor and ModFactor for $400. I am kind of shy on delay and I know it is a good, I figured I would sell my Mobius and replace it with the ModFactor (at least temporarily). I also figured hooking up those 2 with my PitchFactor could be cool.
So I sell my Mobius. Virtually at that same moment dude messages me that he is backing out

So now what do I do? Cancel sale with the dude that bought mine. Buy something totally different and be SHORT on modulation and delay (I can get a little of each out of the PitchFactor). If I buy something different, I am thinking about a Red Witch Synthotron, then maybe it would unseat some of my other synth stuff, I could sell that and buy a bit of modulation and delay.

Four of my clients reach the end of their contracts next week, and can't renew because of marriage / leaving the country / unemployment / mortgage.

That's $360 p/week less I will be making for a couple of weeks while I replace them.

Today, started out too great to keep up. It wasn't bad. Things just really petered out. If I'm lucky they'll get better tomorrow/Saturday (Note: I still haven't gone to sleep so in my mind it's still Thursday).

Filling in on guitar for my drummer's other band as frequently as I have has made me realize I hate their songs. A LOT.
