I think the Witcher series is pretty cool.. definitely gonna check out Witcher 3...

Looking forward to watching some Dead Island Riptide, I liked that game.

You can still play the original games on pc with scumm vm. I think some torrents will have the game files you need

pretty sure i am almost to the end of dishonored. have to say two things at this point - totally surprised it's this short for a bethesda game, but regardless it has been FUCKING AWESOME. also pretty sure i will be playing through it at least once more just to do things differently and hopefully to find things i didn't the first run through (drives me nuts each time i end a chapter seeing how i didn't find so many things!). which has happened to me with a couple other bethesda games, but never before immediately after the first run...

so much time i should be playing music instead. talk about a love/hate relationship...
:picard:

i even had a dream a few nights ago where i was dishonored blinking from one spot to another and bioshock infinite return to sender launching enemies' fire back at 'em!

I've heard it's a really short game.

not quite as short as bioshock infinite, but yes it is. deceiving though, they made sure to forewarn players to save often and it's competition for hitman for how man times i've reloaded a saved game to try something different.

trying to play through the whole thing without killing anyone will probably be a bitch...

I actually played Hitman so many times that I never finished it. I've completed the earlier missions so many times that I left no room for the ending. I'll get to it eventually, I'm just taking a break.

i had accomplished everything up to the last two challenges of the fourteenth chapter "attack of the saints" before i let myself be diverted by bioshock and then dishonored. have thought about turning it in and moving on but still might go back to try to finish it up... those last two angel of death challenges in that chapter are a bitch though.

I doubt I'll finish everything, to be honest. I always promise myself that I'll max out each game that I buy, but I never do. I just can't stay focused long enough. The most I've played a single player game is GTA IV, at just over 100hrs, but I only got to 97%. I couldn't fucking find the last few pigeons!

Some of these games are pretty short for sure hey... I think a game should have more than 4 or 5 hours of gameplay at the ~$60 level.

Did anybody see the new Far Cry 3 DLC, Blood Dragon? It's so cool looking hey! And it's voiced by Hicks from Aliens! And it was made in Montreal! Shoot it's cool and I don't even really like FPS people killing games.

dishonored wound up a bit longer than i'd expected due to a twist. it's no 5 hour game but it's no 3 months of your life like the elder scrolls...

I thought it was pretty interesting and cool too... whatcha playing next, Trey?

Anybody see that new game called Zeno Clash? It's so flippin weird.. it's a melee game set in a really bizarre land, it's pretty cool actually. You get to save your FatherMother.

Probably going to start Dishonored. Or maybe borrow some of the Lego games from my brolo - those seem like they might be fun!

What have you been watching recently? Any recommendations??

I got a weird suggestion for you, something different than my usual likes, but it's a really fun game to watch people play.. it's a platformer called Spelunky. You have to advance through several stages of randomly generated mazes using jumping and bombs and ropes and other utility items and it's just fun.

I've also been watching Metro Last Light, pretty cool FPS survival horror from a Russian perspective.

A cool new RPG is Mars: War Logs, you know I like anything that takes place on Mars.

If you played Dragon's Dogma there's a cool new DLC called Dark Arisen, great RPG action game.
