That sucks bro it sounds like everyone's having a shit day.
I know they cleaned out at least three of the roots on this tooth; don't know how many roots molars have, but this still hurts A LOT (and I've taken a hydrodone that should be working by now). Apparently every pharmacist in Cache Valley is closed till nine, so I had to wait a half hour after the dentist to get my prescription filled

Thanks duder
And that's crazy man I hope they can get you something fast and get the last root out of there...
Got a personal property tax for City of Richmond. I've not lived there for almost a year and called about a month after moving back to MD to let the DMV know I was a MD resident but apparently they did not update my record. I called to try to clear the tax this morning and the lady said that she couldn't clear the tax until my DMV record showed that I was no longer a Richmond resident. So that's my adventure for tomorrow before work
dubkitty wrote:molars: usually four roots, sorry to say.
Hmmmrrrr Maybe the last one's already been done. I've had a lot of tooth the problems. By the time this year's over I'm going to have 10 crowns on my teeth. So, it's possible that that root's been done before; this tooth did have a crown on it already.
I might be calling the dentist to get something stronger because this hydrocodone's definitely kicked in, but it's not doing much for my pain.
That's weird about your property tax. Don't you have to own property in that area to pay the property tax? I didn't think that sort of thing had much to do with where one lived, but where one owned property

Virginia is a CommonWealth not a "state", you pay taxes on anything you own of value (cars, houses, etc). You only pay taxes on domiciles within the "state" lines, but cars is a whole different story. Because you have the ability to drive your car in and out of the state as long as your drivers license is from Virginia you pay taxes on it. This state is absolutely ludicrous when it comes to taxes, especially what they tax you on and how much they tax you. Hence why its a commonWEALTH not a "state".

Yeah it's pretty nuts. I didn't own any property other than my car down there (ie no house or condo or anything) so it's all they could tax me on, but yeah. Thought this was taken care of a year ago

I would double the dose, but I've been super paranoid about dosages ever since a friend of mine accidentally overdosed on sleep meds.

Huh? I was not aware. That does make some sense. Though, it seems like with cars it would make more sense to have a gas tax than to try and tax each vehicle in the commonwealth, but I'd bet that you have to pay both those taxes in Virginia? Innefficient tax systems /rant
Thanks man. I was going to try to straighten it out this morning but I had to leave for work. Going to call nice and early tomorrow morning so I have the entire morning to flatten it out if I need to. I mean I have my new license and registration that are dated to prove my vehicle has been here since June of 2012, and I even forefitted my VA license when I got my Maryland one back in June as well.
I'm sad my amp is broken. :*( It's been a while, but I finally got back the itch to make some crazy fuzz sounds.
Strangely enough this was inspired by my playing in a cover band.
Hopefully, I'll have moneys to get it fixed soon. Anybody know how much it usually runs to get a 1980 Fender PtP amp fixed up? It kinda works, but I think it's always stuck in the drive channel (eewwww). I've been using my bassist's amp so long I forgot what was wrong with it tbh.

Hope you can get hat sorted out Skully.
We do have both outrageous Gas taxes and personal property taxes, if its able to be taxed we got a tax on it and it aint a small tax. Skully would have needed to inform both the DMV and department of taxation in VA, but he would first need to register the car in maryland, get maryland tags, get a maryland drivers license, and maryland insurance THEN return his virginia car tags back to the DMV in Virginia then wait 2 to 3 months for it to be registered in the system and a check cut for the remaining amount of registration time on his tags, THEN go to the department of taxation in which ever COUNTY he resided in and inform them that the car is no longer registered or housed in the state of virginia at any time, sign an affidavit affirming that provide the new registration info and new drivers license, and then they would release him from FUTURE taxes (they never release you from taxes unless you paid them in a separate county and have prove of doing so). In VA you have to do this EVERY TIME you sell or junk a car or move to a new state, its a horrendous pain in the ass. Oh and some counties require you to purchase a 30$ decal to prove you paid your taxes on your vehicle, otherwise you can get pulled over and ticketed or as they've done to me before, they will come at 4am and ticket your vehicle.

hahaha its pretty close! The "state" motto is "Virginia is for Lovers!" because they tax couples and children higher and they want you to buy property to raise your family (which they also tax you on) and as your kids get older they get cars too and the cycle continues.
I've been on a long rant all day at work about the cyclical financial rape of our current greed based local and federal governmental system, and coupled with my inherent misanthropic attitude and bipolar / general anxiety disorder ridden mind its been a long long long day.....

Yep, this is pretty much the conversation I'm expecting to have tomorrow. Hopefully it goes smoothly but I'm sure it won't
