I guess anything to make money off someone else’s history regardless how crappy it is, is OK.
Gibson should concern itself with bringing back quality at reasonable prices and drop the crap.
My son does have a Squire that is painted like this.
It’s a much better tribute guitar than that Gibson thing.

when I first got my strat, I had my GF paint a design on it that was based off that design. I loved it!
But still, I can't believe Gibson has been so shitty lately. The 'Eye' Guitar, what the fuck was that? Keifer Sutherland? Come on, *I* deserve a custom guitar more than that guy.
What is sad to me is what Gibson thinks of their customers to offer this. I've read so much feedback on this product launch and NONE of it is positive. Does Gibson really think that their younger customers don't know what it is they are buying? Or do they think that mom's will read "Jimi Hendrix" and buy it for their kids?
so it looks like no ones posted this yet but......... Gibson removed all info and mention of these products, the strats, the piano, the interview, everything
looks like some up at hq decided to look and see what people were saying, for once
