Turns out they are releasing a Shiva pedal.
Yep, we realized Bognor made a Shiva amp shortly after we started selling our pedal, but now they are branching out to pedals. We're happy to play nice. What's this mean for you? Same kickass sounds, new kickass package.

This type of situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth, although your positive attitude is quite refreshing.

Hope you are properly compensated and not being threatened/bullied into changing the name if you had it first.

Feeling like I, personally wouldn't take the videos down, but rather make them private so I/my lawyer could view them if need be...with intact upload date.

I think Aen's doing this out of consideration and to make matters less complicated. Bogner's amps have a higher profile in the guitar community than Dwarfcraft's pedals.

As a simple test, type the words "shiva" and "guitar" into an internet search engine and see the results for yourself. I think you'll get a lot more Bogner hits than Dwarfcraft.

I don't know if Bogner's e-mail contained any litigious comments, but why go down that road if it can be avoided?

Why would it even be an issue with Bogner though? What two pedals can't have the same name? Who cares! Just weird. I totally get it, but just curious.
