My first attempt with veroboard. The circuit I'm building is a Devi Ever Hyperion 2. I'm pretty sure the board is layed out correctly but I'm not getting any kind of bypass signal when it's turned off. Did I wire it correctly? I'm pretty confused about where to ground everything. I used black wire for the ground. Here's the layout I was using. http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2012/05/devi-ever-hyperion-2.html?m=1
When you plug the output jack in, does it cause the part the tip contacts to push down and touch the case or anything else (metal on the stomp switch?)? That would ground out your signal. Something to check. It would explain why it works when it's not plugged in all the way.
If this is it, you could use some electrical tape between the case and the jack, or twist the jack some so it doesn't touch.
