The vcf. If it based on the 303, the Filter is the Key Feature.

^i heard it was not, based on some korg filter...which actually i guess could be based on the tb303 filter in some way. i am not an expert. it sounded pretty dead on in the video. i never owned a 303, but i used to have a x0xb0x. sounds more than legit.

and who really cares if it emulates a 303/808/909 whatever (not implying you do at all, just speaking in general).
i'd rather have it have its own character. the real question that matters is if it sounds good or not. does it filth?
those roland emulations have been done to death. tired. not wack just very overdone.

yeah, i feel you. i have two 303 clones and i'm also not interested in another one. But the filter is the additional feature that sets it apart from the other synth. Regarding the filter function, i use it a lot and can only encourage to get sth. with that feature.
The synth and bass synth were occupied at the Musikmesse - had no chance to check them out. But that stuff is more than legit. I will get the drums first and probably grab the other two later. Will see. The release date will be sth. around july - so still a bit of time in a jeep.
