Volume AND Expression Pedal
Anyone know of any pedals that work as both volume and expression? I think Rocktron may make one?

At the same time? I've used my VPJr as an expression pedal before and it works fine. But of course you can't use it as a volume pedal then.

ahh yes, I guess I figured there was some difference and a VPjr couldn't be used as an expression pedal.
The multi axis pedals looks sick...but I don't use stereo enough

Re: Volume AND Expression Pedal
The Boss FV500H or L (high impedance or low impedance) does both and it's built like a tank. Been using that forever as my exp pedal but it's now relegated to volume duty. Got the Source Audio dual exp pedal and an Expressionator to handle the rest.

Re: Volume AND Expression Pedal
The Boss doesn't do volume and expression at the same time, does it? (I think it uses only one pot for both)
It has a logaritmic pot so it's not as easy to use as an expression pedal in my opinion.
Another one worth mentioning is the Dunlop Volume X that should be on the market around June I think, solid built and cheaper than any other out there that has both expression and volume options and it has a nice large throw, it doesn't do volume and expression at the same time but it does have a dedicated pot for both functions (1 logarithmic and 1 linear) so I think it should be possible to mod it.

I wish it was up down for volume and side by side for expression, or vice versa.

Nope, the Boss is only one at a time sadly.
And yeah, I prefer using it for volume.

well geez guys, "The left/right motion will pan the instrument signal while up/down motion controls the overall volume." just sort of stuck out, buttholes.
