You have a color scheme for your pedals?

Post by devideva »

Mine wasn't intentional but has become parti-colored. But now I'm looking to see what red pedals there are to fill out the rainbow.

What color choices have you made on your pedals?
Pics if appropo.
...or something...

I always end up with dark colored pedals and see people with bright colorful pedalboards and get jealous. :grumpy:

Nah, I don't really go for a "look". Actually I kinda like em all disorganized. There's a pink one, a black and white, one that I wrapped in things and lit on fire, etc.

I like my pedals to just not be all the same color. But it's not really a factor whether I get one or not. But I try not to use patch cables that are not the same color and the pedals they're connecting. Just to mix it up

I have the opposite problem: I always end up with a rainbow of pedals and wish I could squeeze it down to one color

Sometimes...
Image

But I buy with my ears and imagination, before my eyes.
But where there are style options, I celebrate form as much as function and buy the most visually appealing to me.

Otherwise...no, but a weird pet peeve of mine is when colors clash on neighboring pedals.
Sometimes I just have to deal with it, when they sound right.

As for red pedals...

Dr. Scientist RRR
Valbruch Chorus, Jewel Drive, Fusionizer
Effectrode Fire Bottle
Providence Flame Drive or Stampede OD
Boss RC-3
Bogner Ecstasy Red
Klon KTR
Foxx Tone Machine

...that's all I can think of

Jack White had his rehoused for one of his bands.

I don't care either way but if I had my way, I prefer a lot of aluminum, black, and white with some sparkle colors peppered in for good measure. :thumb:

Yeah, that dude is straight addicted to color schemes.

Think the copper stuff was for the Raconteurs, gotta admit that looks totally badass! He also had a matching Gretsch. Mark from BAT has an all BAT demo board full of transparent copper finishes too, looks killer, I'll see if I can't get a pic to post.

Back to Jack, here's the White Stripes board:

And here's the Dead Weather board. That band tried the all white thing, guitars included but guess they didn't invest in the full white rehouse...
