Swappin' Tuners On A Gibson

Post by CBA »

I was going to try to swap the tuners on two of my Les Pauls.

The LP Studio has these:

The LP Faded Special has these:

They are both sets of six separate tuners, nothing connected or in series, and both sets say Gibson Deluxe on the back.

Think it will be an alright swap?

Did that to my sg last summer. Was really easy. And if they don't fit you can always screw the old ones back on.
But it should fit!

I won't need any weird tools or anything, will I? What's the thing called for unscrewing nuts? Otherwise it looks like I'll just need a screwdriver, huh?

Nah, super easy and all you need is a screwdriver. I had to do the same thing after I broke a peg off.

AH YES. The socket wrench. Thanks... I obviously know nothing about doing anything with my hands lest I break a nail.

But yeah, I figured that would work out pretty well.

Thanks bros.
