EHX Super Ego on bass with W&C PPB and MASF Possessed

i.... um. i don't like EHX. like, at ALL. i've tried to be really subtle in my dislike and keep that all on the under and shits.

but they DID nail it with the Super Ego. the Freeze is awesome fun, the Super Ego turns into a huge, super useful tool.

this is running the Wren And Cuff Pickle Pie B -> MASF Possessed in the effects loop. mooooooooore sloppy than usual 'cause i'm kinda out of it today. WOOT.

yah. this is the first time i really messed with any pedals in the efx loop.

it's really neat that you can set the efx level and dry level with the S. Ego, since with the Auto mode you have to play below a certain threshold to not have it latch onto what you're doing. but with the knobbies you can balance that so the softer parts aren't inaudible.

i only used the Auto mode in this vidja 'cause Freeze has the other two modes, and it's harder to use the Latch and Temp mode when it's on the table.

it's got some shit up in thar. it's been a lot of fun to play with. i do like a modified version of the efx loop, where i have two outs on my pedalboard, one is looper -> Super Ego -> PPB -> Pitch Factor. so it let's me either use those pedals with or without the Ego.

but it's really neat to have a big ringout thing like i had someone accenting then play under it.

damn you EHX. i actually like it. a LOT.
