nice DOD pedal arrived today

I've been trying to get one for a reasonable price for a while now.

Nice, thick sound and different enough from my other fuzz pedals.
I really have a soft spot for DOD pedals, don't know why...

the lowest gain setting is unexpectedly clean, you need to turn the Fuzz control way up to get it to the interesting levels of distortion.
The tone control past 2 o'clock exhibits the same unpleasant, 'hard' sounding highs the Flashback Fuzz is known for.
With the Tone low and Fuzz high in front of an already slightly dirty or really dirty amp it's quite nice:
Thick, sometimes chocking on it's own bass (I like that - if it's controllable, which it is here)
basically it's one sound it's good at - good enough for me
works nicely with SCs (Dominger Hippie & Fender 57/62) and my bridge HB - a SD Hotrails, which is generally working quite well with fuzzes, thanks to it's huge midrange.

Going to the Messe tomorrow, maybe I'll manage to post a few examples before.
