HOLYSHITNEWAMPDAY!!! I just got this like new Peavey Mark IV with 2x15 Cab for almost nothing thanks to CL and my quick emails... Almost killed myself hauling it up my stairs... The dude that sold it had a lot more Peavey and I found out that there is a Peavey Rep in Austin that I might go visit...

I had a Mark VI as my main bass amp for almost a decade. I sold it a few years ago and replaced it with a Genz Benz Shuttle, but I regretted the decision. The Genz isn't bad, just different. If I hadn't gotten the all-tube sickness, I likely would have gone back to Peavey. And I still may try out a VB-2 some day.

The Head, Cab and Bass were all cheap... For what it's worth I've played two of these Jaguar Short Scales and for under $200 THEY RAWK!!! I'm really diggin the Jag Bass through the Bass Bloom and El Cap into the Mark IV... SOOO GOOOD...

I fucking love Peavey. I'm not sure about their current offerings, but I'm a big fan of their pre-2000 stuff. It's all handmade stuff from the good old US of A and can be had for a song.
