Is there anyone making music like Sunn o))), except like, nicer? I know like nothing about drone, but today I'm really in the mood but I can't be bothered putting up with massive churning fuzz* - something cleaner, perhaps with ridonculous delays and reverbs and swells and stuff. I'm thinking something even nicer than the Altar album with Boris.

* No, I'm not giving up my love of the fuzz, I'm just running on no sleep and a mammoth sized cold which has negatively affected my brain's internal fuzz appreciation neural network

Check out some Charlemagne Palestine, Terry Riley and La Monte Young for older drone stuff that is really good.

Maybe Phil Niblock?

Nadja has fuzz, but some of their stuff is very soothing.

Queen Elephantine? maybe.... they use drone boxes and droning notes so maybe that could fit the bill.
