Re: Cosmichorus settings
You mean vibrato-ish as in not fully wet, right? Like mostly wet signal with a bit of dry... that's how the Boss VB-2 is, you never hear fully wet signal, you get a fixed ratio of dry to wet, maybe 60/40 or 70/30 favouring wet. Keep the treble up so your signal is nice and clear and keep the clock knob and toggle fairly minimum so it's not too pitchy.

The more Vibrato the better. Gotta crank it fully wet.

That's friggin' awesome!Lemyisgod wrote:The more Vibrato the better. Gotta crank it fully wet.
I find myself always cranking the treble, this pedal is still making completely new sounds every time I mess around with it. Iove it to death.Ryan wrote:You mean vibrato-ish as in not fully wet, right? Lately I've just been using some basic "Chorus" tones, but they sound SO good man, it's so full. I've never heard a better chorus, especially on bass. I love this thing.

This. Is awesome.Lemyisgod wrote:The more Vibrato the better. Gotta crank it fully wet.
I really want to buy a second cosmichorus so I can keep one for standard chorus and one for creepy vibrato.
I already have two flangers on my board though, don't want to turn this into a pattern
Maybe cosmi V4 should have an extra footswitch to switch between chorus/vibrato

That makes me feel like a million bucks, thanks Josh! I think out of all the crazy sounds it makes my favourite setting is a basic one too, knobs at noon with a really slow rate.nightterrors wrote:I find myself always cranking the treble, this pedal is still making completely new sounds every time I mess around with it. Re: Cosmichorus settings
High five back atcha ya. If a pedal is all decked out in zombies it better have the capability to scare the shit out of me. I'm anxiously awaiting my zombies cosmi. I can't wait to try it in a stereo setup. I've been mostly playing guitar but it seems like it will absolutely perfect for Peter hook/ new order bass tones. Plus ill use it when I'm playing overdriven for some thickening richness and of course get weird as fuuuuuuccck!!! I'm planning on making some scary soundscapes with some fuzz and fully wet vibrato. I haven't tried it yet but I just know it will be a keeper. Everything Ryan lays his hands on turns to gold. Of course, much respect to Tanya for being the behind the curtains mastermind. Dr. Sci kicks butt!Ryan wrote:*high five Matt* It convinced me to buy a night light! *jk, I live for terror*fungalattack wrote:This convinced me to buy a cosmichorus!Lemyisgod wrote:The more Vibrato the better. Side note - I convinced my buddy to abandon his thin ds-1 for an elements to suffice for all his dirt needs. Of course he loves it. I was also sick of him borrowing it all the time

Re: Cosmichorus settings
Just got the zombies in!!! WOOOOOOTTT!! this is a win. I recorded some drastically different settings and some riffs I improvised. I have only scratched the surface but I will continue exploring the deepest reaches of the cosmic realm. I used a fz-2 for the fuzz and a monarch. The last riff sounds so awesome with the fuzz and rich, lush chorus.
