Mini has more bass and sounds a bit darker. Fuck is a bit more natural and has the crackle, which I find more fun. They both sound superb when stacked with each other.

The mini can do some interesting things with the low cut that the normal one can't. It's worth it for that alone.

All in all I prefer the standard one because while the bias knob doesn't offend me it doesn't do anything for me. The crackle mode on the normal version is awesome though. Sounds so amazing with bass and I like to add some light crackle on guitar

I wish I could still use my big eff but I'm just getting my dirt from my amp and I've used that pedal to the point where it's broken now anyways

Always the correct answer, mini seems a bit more versatile but the big one has the crackle.

They're both pretty different it seems. I only have the big one, but the important thing to note I think is that they do different things.
I prefer my fuck on guitar over bass, but not by much. I also don't use the crackle feature unless i'm using it with other pedals or with non guitar stuff like drums and keyboards.
I think you have the ability you should try both! Brian is an awesome dude who does great work at a good price.
If I were you, I would try a mini first if you play bass, and a big fuck if you play guitar.
If you don't like it, you should have no problem flipping it on here.
