Shrinebuilder

Post by Wizard »

Has anyone had their eyes on the new lords of stoner metal supergroup Shrinebuilder? Scott Kelly, Al Cisernos, Wino, and Dale from the Melvins. They put up a new track a while back you can find here http://www.myspace.com/shrinebuildergroup

i just want some peoples takes on it.

My friend played me the album and i definitely dug it, but it' definitely not as good as i'd expected. But i expected it to be the best album of the past 25 years, so to have it only land in my top albums of this year isn't a bad thing.

So even with that said, There are some incredible parts. Like Al and Scott could ever do wrong working together

Check it out. The guitar work is generally magnificent, and all of us being pedal heads, the tones are made for us. It's nice.

Damnit, I was so stoked for this... and frickin' Myspace doesn't work on my home computer. Ack! Guess I'll just have to go out and buy the album...

well you can check out that one tune on the myspace, but Dale's voice doesn't suit my taste. overall i'm less than impressed with the vocals on the record, but the riffs, oh the riffs! :thumb:
