Just bought one!
I'm gonna use it for like overdriven reverb, right now I'm using my amps tank to do that but it makes everything a bit tinny. Now I can use moderate amp reverb all the time how it sounds best and use this for my dirt... Or flip it

Shit, every time I'm interested in DBA pedals, part of my conscious says "DON'T!" for few reasons. Nonetheless, hella interesting!

Fuck it, I haven't bought any gear in a couple of months. Ordered. This will be my fifth dba pedal, I've flipped all of them so far, hopefully this will be the start of a new trend of keeping shit!

i'm interested, but after the recent swathe of pedals being ordered unseen/unheard and then flipped en masse--the Kill Kill Filter and Big Green Pi spring immediately to mind--i'm sticking with my strict policy of No Demo, No Money.

This!

Yup though I've yet to sell a DBA pedal for anything resembling profit. This could be the one to end that streak with the not totally ridiculous starting price....

On the money.

Also, knowing DBA's track record. I'd assume the drive knob would introduce a massive volume boost to get reasonable drives sounds. So for that reason... I'm out.

when you think about it.. what kind of arrogant bastards trying to sell things without any effort of making some such of advertisement/demo :) ? But I've always tried not to buy direct anyway for the peace of mind just in case I doesn't work with my rigs .. (but I asked myself why did I order pedals from basic audio & arc effects few days ago? hmm.. :idk: )

I felt this way awhile back too. Then I got a Soundwave Breakdown and an Echo Dream and all that changed.

At least their prices have been coming down a bit on the last couple releases. That's a refreshing change.

Also, anyone else notice on that new DBA site they put their wholesale/dealer prices right there on the general customer purchase page? That's different....

Yeah that's right up there with the rest of their questionable practices like shitty soldering and spray paint jobs along with using toy parts... I just get a dirty feeling from DBA... APTBS will always have my heart... Why can't Tom be in APTBS???
