Thanks!!!
She's a 76 US.
I'm kind of a Strat hater myself, I'm quite embarassed having one
But I couldn't can't buy that one for several reasons...she plays heavenly, the wood is extremely resonant, she's beautiful and she was cheap.
I bought that one when I was baby sitting 8 years ago, the dad sold it to me for 1000 euros, and he told me it was possible to take my time to pay him...so it took me 5 years to pay that Strat, mostly because I forgot to pay him

Anyway, you understand I HAD to buy this guitar!!!!!!!!!
It's not the guitar of the century but luthiers I met told me it's an incredible sounding and playing one, I'm very lucky and very happy.

But I hate her as much as I love her, it's a complicated relationship...and it's the one and only Strat I'll ever have.

She looks hawt! Not that artificial "relic'd" look.. but really.. "real". I bet you could sell her for at least double the price you paid... if you wanted. I wish I would babysit myself a nice guitar

Definitely a nice looking Strat. And you can't argue with the sound or playability on them, that's for sure.

I play a G&L ex-Comanche (it has humbuckers now....and I spray-painted the head stock.....) so I'm in the same boat. The guys at the guitar shop talked me into G&Ls, and I'll never sell it. As much as I love one of my newer guitars, because I built it to be really unique.....the G&L makes it and almost everything else feel like a toy.

My strat, 24" short scale sx lefty turned righty, mustang trem replaced original lefty strat one (saving that for a future project). Individual on/offs for each pickup, only volume knob (the big one), killswitch, joystick wired to be two expression pedals, goes to the midi jack (not currently working...)

how hard/expensive/time consuming was it to put in the mustang trem. I have an old strat I'm redoing and i dont like the regular strat trem, but i still want a trem.

Been really frustrated with my acoustic guitar. Warped soundboard, dull sound, difficult to play, uninspiring. I had some cash come in for my Birthday so I spoiled myself. Came across a Red Label Yamaha FG-75 soft shoulder guitar.

Okay, that just blew my mind. How did you wire the expression pedal joystick? What about isn't currently working? It's absolutely brilliant.
Nicely done!
