15 minutes to make, no soldering nescessary (If you're bodgy like me). It works really well though.

Materials: 1 portable computer speaker / tupaware container / rubber tubing / Gaffa tape (gotta be gaffa to be ghetto).
You'll need a microphone hooked up to a seperate amp/stereo to run your talkbox.

an old practice amp works pretty well too if you don't have an old computer speaker the more watts you can put through it the better

i made mine with a midrange horn driver and used the black plastic boot part of a grounded mains plug...screwed right on to the driver's throat. put a hose clamp around it, and voila!
stuff some clear plastic tubing in the little hole where the wire would go (you may need to enlarge it a bit to fit the hose for your beak), hook it up to whatever amp you wanna use, and you've got the REAL deal... mine's still going strong 30 some years later.
