Nice to see some muza love. How are you using the super ego?

Right now just for noise. Latch a note and use the pedals to modulate while I play the "real" lines. Now that I have the switcher up and running we are working on a new song that has an ambient section where I have the superego on auto mode and I turn the dry signal down and use the superego for super long notes.

I don't use the muza as much as I should. It has the memory patches that I really need to sit down with and come up with some nice ones that I can flip through as needed. But skip has me lusting after the new ibanez delay so... But since I only use the jammman to play samples rather than loops we may take that off my board and make the drummer trigger it through the pa. That leave me room for the ibanez and the muza. That would bring me up to 4 delays/reverbs and 3 dirts if you count the clean boost which I use to push the amp into overdrive.

It is a morley mini volume pedal. I picked it up since it was so tiny. It is an optical unit though so it runs off an led shining through a slot in the pedal itself to regulate the volume. It isn't the greatest sweep but it does its job and it is super tiny. And thanks for the compliment on the diy pedals. I haven't painted them or anythign because I figure they are just for me and i'm just going to be stomping on them for shows and practice. Its great to be able to build and then tweak to what you need. I have flipped though a bunch of dirt pedals doing this.

It was a pretty weird show because it was supposed to be for kids and yet you got to see a rock going into Goliath's eye, the holy spirit passing through Egypt and killing the first born children in houses without lambs blood above their door and a guy getting thrown to the lions. The bible is weird. It's not at all relevant to the thread but you just reminded me of it.

The Bible is a morose book.

I like this a lot. I'd personally have to have a tremolo pedal on there, but as it stands, awesome.

dazedbyday wrote:I am new to most of I love fuzz but I figured I can share my board here. I posted it in the doom room thread a few days ago. There are still a few things I want to change like replacing the octave with a micro pog or a pog 2 but the baisc idea is there.

It is centered around that pedal between the volume pedal and the super ego which is an effect loop switcher that changes the top row of pedals besides the delay from being in the effects loop of the superego and in series with the superego. This way I can have those effects for both my "frozen" superego sound and my normal signal. I just got to use this set up at a show on sunday and it was really nice having all the effects in the superego loop to create crazy ambient sounds.

Clever set-up, mate. This is what I'd be doing if I had the Superego (and the common sense).

Stay awesome, Skip.

I've added a couple of pedals, so I thought I'd spam my board again:

:highfive: Very nice! Been considering selling the Space as I've just acquired the Timeline, but I've got a feeling I'd regret it. :?: :idk:

The board was removable too but I just left the lunchbox set up like that because of the positive messages it displays to the youth.

I play with my eyes closed alot and I stepped on the dingdang tuner one too many times so now I just throw the fuzz (of my own creation now but that Pharaoh was real nice) and the tuner on the floor about 8" apart or so.
