I think it would rule to have one, especially since I'd love to own so many amps. I'd just prefer to look at a bunch of vintage amps in my room instead of one of those.

I'm one of those people who doesn't really feel any kind of special connection or attachment to vintage gear. So if this thing sounds good IRL (as in not professionally recorded) I'd rock the shit out of one.

they recently released an interview with a producer who i forgot the name of who was just gushing about it, but it came off as totally sincere, was a pretty lengthy detailed vid

I wish I could find it but there was a video where they did a blind A/B test with the Kemper and the real amp it was profiling and they couldn't tell the difference.

I don't know how well it takes pedals but that's not a total deal breaker for me as might be for some round these parts.

I hadn't heard of these, pretty cool idea. I can imagine taking one to a high end music store disguised as a brief case with a few handy holes and flaps and modelling all their amps MMWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAARRRR!!! Your amps are now mine!

A rack mount version has recently been released too. For studios and touring I suppose. As cool as it is, nothing is cooler than a room full of amps.

I think it sounds a little different in the video but it's still pretty cool. Seems like the first amp modeler that doesn't sound kinda lame.

the guitarist for august burns red uses one when he tours oversees. He said it worked out better cause he could bring it as a carry on and always have his amp of choice even if you can only get certain ones in foreign countries. That seems like a logical reason to get one.

Feel like this could be a good thing for someone who demo's pedals, show people how the pedal sounds through nearly every amp.
