interesting as an entertainment, but I bet it's useless and doesn't really match up in real life. It's more of a bait for TGP and those funny whiny peeps on facebook's geartalk. But then again, I wanna try it haha..

what?

it's not like that is some sort of new process or anything... a lot of people record into a DI, play it back through a fancy amp in some fancy studio with a fancy console to get the best bang for your buck for studio time. silly PGS. i suppose it's cool that they're applying it to pedal demos though.

anyway, i tried it, doesn't seem to work with my ipad, the little flash clips won't play :idk: apple products recommended my butt!

i tried with my android phone and it worked, but the distortion clips don't sound right, seems like they are missing some high end, maybe it's the phone's problem or the EQ thing they talked about.

+1 exactly what I thought. But I'm gonna try it anyway right now....

It's still no way to avoid the usual musical voidness of the crap they play in demos.

Did anyone else receive a pack of strings and a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter from pgs as a promotion for this?

I just don't see the point - 'let's play youtube through my amp' doesn't tell me squat - about how the front end of the amp will react to the actual item, etc.

We all could have done this for years and years (and on patent pending alone, I have to scoff, if they wasted the money to file on this I can't wait to see prior art).

It's no different than the occasional "can I run my music through my guitar amp" threads I've seen over the years....and using this as a sales pitch is just hilarity in motion.

What's next, put a photo of food in my microwave and watch it rotate around?

me too, then I went to try it ... (imo) pretty much a gimmick. But thanks to PGS anyway, now that I got a free cable and useless set of strings (not my gauge).

I'm still pro-Andy, even if he does need to be laughed at sometimes. The free cable is nice, way better than what I was using before to connect my ipod or kaossilator to pedals (headphone to rca cable with an adapter on one rca end). That extra rca line dangling off unused always bothered me for some reason. Now at last I can have summed mono tidyness. :joy:

Future MTV Unplugged series will be the entire crowd squeezing in to hear Katy Perry over her iPhone built-in speakers
