I quite like my Modtone Aqua Chorus. Sure, it's not as nice as, say, the Cosmichorus, but it gets the job done. Nice, subtle chorus is what I like, and it gives me that in spades. :)
Tune it low, play it slow.

you know what's alwayz funny about Chorus threads? there is NEVER any agreement or consensus on which is the best one though generally the EXH Small Clone is the one that is alwayz talked the most, therefore becoming the de jure "favorite" chorus. or default...

i have the Arion bass chorus. It's alright :idk: I'm not a huge chorus connoisseur. It's kinda inline with the boss chorus sound, i think.

I can't believe that I, the self-proclaimed modulation whore of ILF, haven't posted in this thread yet.

"Favorite chorus" is a tough question because there are different types of choruses.

For the shimmery, static, cold type of chorus, I prefer the Boss DC-2 and its clones.

For the warbley, liquidy, pitch-bendy type of chorus, I would say the Small Clone and its derivatives (like the Analogman) are my favorite so far. I really want to try (and start tweaking) the BYOC chorus soon.

fair enough. i was indirectly talking about other threads on other forums. the Chosmichorus is extremely popular on a lot of HCFX boards also. makes sense.

Pretty sure the BYOC is a small clone chorus... by pretty sure I mean 'definite'

Sticking with my earlier post though, still gotta go with the Small clone... a few mods can make it more versatile aswell if you're good with a soldering iron.

As this is the only chorus I've had, I must give my vote to this. It has a really nice sound, though I suppose it's suited more for subtle chorus needs. It's analog and can be had for cheap on eBay, too.

it wasn't even my first choice when i was looking. i can totally see someone having more demanding Chorus needs though, hence the Chosmichorus...

Does anybody have experience with the Maxon Pure Analog Chorus? (it's their new chorus, i think it's a reissue/update of that pinkish-purple chorus they made in the 80s)

Also, I saw that someone mentioned the BBE Mind-Bender, but then nobody said anything about it...can I get any more info on that?

I've rather enjoyed all the chorii I've owned: Visual Sound Liquid Chorus, Boss CE-2B, Analogman (standard and bi-), but I'm saving for a Cosmichorus as a birthday present to myself!!

Although my MXR Micro Chorus breaks the rule, I typically like chorus only one way — in s t e r e o.
