Re: The Video Game thread
We found this modded Midway server in Battlefield 1942 last night, fucking hilarious. They made it so the dive bombers could dive underwater at submarine speed, then take off right out of the ocean. If you were under and saw a dude swimming above, you could "fly" beneath him, drop bombs and they'd teleport up to the surface to blow him away.
The only thing better is turbo jeeps flying all the way to the enemy base on capture the flag maps.

man, 1942, such memories! such as climbing a bomber high up, then exiting onto the wing, surfing the pilotless bomber all the way down. good times!

Been thinking about Conkers Bad Fur Day. We need a remake for the 3ds with online play.

1942 was such a great game. Battlefield is a great franchise IMO, my favorite being BF2 and 1942 (I thought 2142 was kind of weak though)

1942 is my favorite game of all time.
BF3 is fun if you have a friend or two to play it with, but I otherwise couldn't take it.

I fucking love smoke grenades. That was a random shot into a warehouse; guess it hit a mine or something perfectly. It is one of my primary weapons, though. So satisfying to bean people with 'em.
That and bailing C4-laden jeeps or bikes into tanks, then shooting them with explosive shotgun shells so it says I killed a tank with a shotgun.

Arkham is great, I'm pissed that Live locked me out of the game. My HDD died on me, already activated the game but Live won't let me play it because my account has already put in the game code.

About 18h into ME3 now, getting close to the end of the game. Finishing the Trilogy in a month is pretty cool though, I want to replay the 2nd and 3rd sometime. I don't get get why people were hating on the 3rd, the story is brilliant and always seems to punch my soul. I wish that I wasn't so late to this.

I'm waiting for everything to be sorted out so I can pounce on SimCity, EA can't disappoint me if I'm not playing it. In the mean time I'm keeping myself occupied with Bit.trip runner 2 and the single player of Dawn of War II (if you haven't played this I would recommend it, especially if you like the 40k universe).

Bought Bioshock: Infinite from my phone last night, so it'll be waiting on my computer for me when I get home.
