i loved the mono-poly so much i bought another after the 1st one got stolen. after a long time though, the thing literally became untuneable (if you wanted an even semi normal bass or lead line in key, forget it). such a blippy bleepy noise beast, had one for like 12-13 years :)

i will have to cool it after finishing (uhh phase 2) of this pedalboard i've been building x amount of months, but on my radar for that 2nd rack above the a6 is either the korg mini ms-20 or a moog subphatty (maybe christmas? sounds likely). i'm leaning towards the ms-20 because i use the VST a helluva a lot (and it is cheaper). I miss my old moog AND my old korg, to be honest. no way i can afford a mini - i'd have to sell the andromeda and that'd feel like a big step backwards at this point

I have no clue why I've never looked at this thread till now. Much more digestible for a synth noob than browsing the muff wiggler forum.
Just got a doepfer mini case a few days ago, just like skullservant is selling. Pretty stoked to get more modules. But my god, I have zero money to spend of this.

Where's the best place to get DIY module kits?

Muffwiggler is full of DIY PCB's and the like. Really interesting projects over there.

Here's the new plan of things. Of course it just kind of snowballed into this giant fucking thing, but this is what I'm thinking I would to do:

Ended up buying a TipTop Audio Happy Ending case last night, so I will have more than enough room for everything that I've got on hand already, along with the 'future' modules...

Right now I've got the Trogotronic, Stillson, ASDR, In/Outs, and the blank pannels which will become multiples in hand. I'm okay with using my Moog Low Pass until it sells as the filter, but I'd like to replace it with the Make Noise MMG. Pressure points, I think, along with Brains, will be the icing on the cake and allow sequencing and tactile control over the entire rig

104, but with the uZeus power supply you get 100hp which is MORE than enough for anything I will ever have money to be able to fill... haha

Man, I am already understanding some of the frustrations of Euro, I know all modular systems have their pluses and minuses. It's just PSUs seems like a real pain in the ass like it is still being worked out with Euro. I am cool building my own box to put modules in, but it seems like Euro power supplies are discontinued often or hard to find. I am not DIY enough to make a PSU. Is anybody here?

Look into the uZeus! It's a decent ribbon supply that a lot of dudes are using with 1000ma. It's only 2-4hp. Even if you needed one for every 3u they aren't that expensive

another alternative would be to get a power-one new from mouser and get the bus board from analog haven. uzeus is great for a shallow makenoise skiff where a flying bus board (all ribbon cable, no board) is required to make it fit.

here is the bus board
http://www.analoguehaven.com/monorocket ... tionboard/

HAA15-0.8-AG
http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Pow ... d%2f1BI%3d

the HAA15-0.8-AG can do 12v to 15v dual supply and it is adjustable. it also has "over voltage protection", OVP that should in theory prevent bad shit from happening. buying it from mouser you get a warranty. there are two wires that will convert the power supply from +/-12v default to +/-15v if you just cut them. I got mine on ebay at half the price but it had stuff cut and soldered already. my system is 15v anyway so I got lucky.

you will also need to wire up this without killing yourself  :?: :(

Trogotronic M666, DIY 1x4 + 1x6 multiples, Pittsburgh ASDR, Pittsburgh In/Out

Having a LOT of fun with this

I think I'm going to build a riser for the Bolsa and do my stupid synth fun on a PT Mini. Should probably get a Pocket Piano Midi and then link speeds on the two sytnhs.
