I have nothing against him, I just don't care for Bono.

I got no gripe with that

I don't know if The Edge has enough effects. I didn't see any ILF pedals in there...
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try
one of mine ?

he is, however, the proud owner of every DBA pedal.

Why didn't Jack White want to sit down with the band that he actually stole most of what he calls "his" from? I really dislike him, I was never a big Nirvana fan but at least when Kurt "made it", he not only was open about his influences and the bands he was ripping off, but actually went out and tried to get them known as much as he could. Jack White owes Jack O. and the Oblivians a lot of recognition. Caesar gives this film 2 thumbs down

What band would that be? (Sorry for the ignorance)

Saw this movie yesterday. Like it a lot, so did my wife who is not a musician.
Mild spoiler follows:
Only in Detroit/Royal Oak moment: on the way out of the theatre, I talked to the kid who plays young Jack White.

I got really excited about this movie last November, then I didn't anything more about it till last month. I was beginning to doubt if it was real or another of my faux memories.

The Edge is my fave in the film. I love what he says about effects
. It helped my mom understand why I buy so many pedals

I use a quote from the Edge as my sig over at Talkbass. It perfectly encapsulates my feelings on effects. "I don’t use effects to color my parts. I create guitar parts using effects. They’re a crucial element of what I do so I don’t consider them a crutch"
