I've had my eye on this pedal for a while and Prymaxe finally had them in stock so I snatched one up with their sale. I wasn't sure from the demo videos if this actually was a tremolo with random functionality because the guy in the videos never plays anything more than nonsense. Literally. He just slides his fingers around on the neck and makes noise with the guitar while running it into the pedal. I can tell from 30 seconds of playing that a better demo video would sell cases of these pedals instantly. Its extremely musical and brings a unique electronic element to guitar music which I haven't found in any other pedal.
But the biggest curiosity here is that the name is completely wrong. I dont know if its a language barrier issue (Japanese builder, manual all in japanese, labels in english for some reason though...), but this pedal that is called a tremolo is very clearly a delay. Or maybe more precisely its a sampler with instant playback, random sample length, and random number of plays. The workhorse chip inside is gooped but its either the surface mount SpinSemi FV1 or a large surface mount delay chip. If you play, it keeps going after you stop. In other words, its a delay and not a tremolo. And thats probably why people dont buy this pedal. They dont want a weird broken trem. But if you told them it was a GLITCH DELAY they would sell out constantly. I just dont get it.
But this pedal is awesome. And thats all that matters.
