Alright, about to start ME3 soon just need to finish the final boss in #2.
I'm surprisingly not burnt out on the game after 13h on the first and about 26h on the second. I probably should've got more loyal NPCs, I rage quit a few times when I had some misfortunes because the Optic Spec wasn't loyal during the Long Walk part
i never loved the PS3. felt kinda burned for spending that much money on it. really, only series i care about that's PS exclusive is Ratchet and Clank and the FPS Insomniac does. i forget the name. wannabe Halo thing set around WW2? oh. and Infamous i guess.
but fuck. i'm not going to keep 2 PS consoles. they're talking about MAYBE having PSN versions of PS3 games work on it. MAYBE. they're not even sure if that will be possible.
even more silly, the PS3 save files will not be transferrable. so you'd have to rebuy and play through all 3 games for the inevitable 4th Mass Effect. or all the neat little tie in bonuses R&C give you....
i don't care if it's a legitimate reason architecture wise, it's an asinine situation for them to have put themselves in. UGH.

The existence of backward compatibility between PS and PS2 was wholly coincidetal to start with. They used a chip from the PS in the PS2 and then they realized that they could still run PS games on the new console. PS4 won't play PS3 games in the same way that the SNES didn't play NES games. 360 barely supported xbox games. PS3 didn't support PS2 games. I feel like backwards compatibility should not be as big a deal as people make it, but that's just how I feel.

I feel like backwards compatibility means they'd be limiting the system. Remember in the 90s when consoles were twice as pwerful with each generation? No one cared about backwards compatibility because you wanted them to push the techno-envelope.

No but in all serousness fuck consoles, pc gaming is only gaming you can live without the exclusives, they are strait marketing to your childhood nestalgia I do like to own 1 of the current consoles and the current fps for lan parties though

I will agree that PS3 has a pretty poor list of games, IMO. None really grab my attention, other than Demon's Souls. I had one for 10 months and didn't really play it much...not as much as my 360, anyway.
