Ah ok, I thought it might need the pedal hooked up. Unfortunately I don't have a cable for that, I use my phone to put toneprints in my pedal so I was hoping I could do the same with the editor. I guess it's still in beta so they'll add features eventually.

It's sweet, making delays now... When you turn the knobs the sliders on the screen move... Weeeee... :!!!:

this is so hawt. EVERY company that goes digital and has save spot should have a librarian software. kinda pisses me off that the TimeLine doesn't. it doesn't even have a clean way to backup patches at all.

thanks for the link! i'm'a play with it with my Flashback when i get home.

just one of the fun things to look forward to (from the doc):

One of the great features of the editor is that it allows custom potmappings and ranges for available FX parameters and each of the assignable potmeters can control up to 3 parameters at the same time, where each parameter can have its own modifier curve.

:excellent:

Looks like the interfaces for the reverb and delay are separate UI screens, and the chorus/flanger/vibrato ones are the same UI. so if you had a vortex you could put a shaker vibrato print in it...

The modulations are nice, if you turn the delays down you've got a three knob mod. pedal that's customizable... It's got several chorus and flangers plus vibratos... I found the the Reverse setting is a good basic preset to use to start making your own sounds... I've got a great infinite feedback looper thing going with the saturation tied to the feeback so it's gets more degraded as the feedback gets longer... The curves are good for fine tuning the action when you have more than one thing tied to a knob... I LOVE IT!!!

I guess I might buy a cable that connects to my hall of fame tomorrow because this sounds seriously fun.

Not real impressed with what you can do with the Hall of Fame in the editor. It's not bad I guess, maybe if I spend a little more time with it I could come up with something, but definitely not blown away by the options or anything. I would have been more impressed if it just had a means to do the whole "shimmer" thing. You can make some horrifically unmusical noise with it though, if that's your thing.

I just got a flashback x4 for 100 dollars and the release of this determines if I flip it or not. The stock doesn't get wild enough and the celebrity tone prints were virtually the same things with the exceptions of a few.

know this is off topic but any recommendations for a reasonably priced small tube amp that likes pedals and I can play at higher than *2* on my amp without pissing everyone off? heh heh heh
