Yeah man, post more stuff. Sounds good. Mix what you're getting in with some other sounds and people will just thinks it's an overdriven recorded cello sound!

i forgot that this reminds me of some of my early sound design classes when i was in college. we had to recreate certain woodwind and stringed instruments using particular modular softsynths, etc. the devil is in the details - the spit in the attack, subtle sounds of air, the odd harmonic coming through, and so on. it was always such an interesting and fun task so it's cool to hear someone doing this with pedals and such.
