You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.

Re: FuzzHugger(fx) Wolf Computer! __ IN STOCK!
On hcfx somebody who (I think) owned both the mellowtone and fuzzhugger wolfy claimed they heard a difference
"The Fuzzhugger has more mids and treble... Slightly thicker... The Mellowtone is a little bassier/smoother... Fuzzhugger has way more volume and fuzz on tap though..."
I thought the circuit was supposed to be the same? Just curious.

Can you link to that topic?
The Wolf Computer circuit was designed 100% by Mellowtone...so I wont speak for Eric, since he designed it, but I'm pretty sure the circuit's identical.
(I just opened up a Mellowtone WC and FuzzHugger(fx) WC...looks like the same exact circuit.)
Early on, Eric mentioned wanting to change a pot value "for better control"...not 100% if he did.
Will answer definitively shortly.
There is a perceived increase of volume, due to the difference between an Audio and a Linear volume pot...no actual difference in output. Same value pot.

The tone is in the enclosure.

Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Just got confirmation that the circuit is 100% "the same circuit through and through."
There is one non-sound-affecting change, which is a bleed-through killer, so sounds don't bleed through when the pedal's off.

Yes!
I bet some TGPer will be bashing the FH WC for no bleed-through though.
