ATOMIC BOOST SHAKA LAKA
use my micro amp at the end of the chain, gets my highs and mids a little more pronounced. helps the fuzzies out.

Got a Sparkle Motion, I use it into a cranked amp to push it over the edge or into other dirt pedals to either brighten them up a bit and make things clearer or to boost bass to get seriously fuzzy.

Does anyone actually use a Blowing Up! for anything?

Dude, Blowing Up is the shit.
If you need quieter toans for some wuss songs, just Blowing Up another fuzz or something and use that as a volume control, still has the magic effect.

Re: Booze-ters
I'm hoarding CC/DCs like toilet paper before the y2k. Shit's magic.
I use it for extra volume with the clean channel, but I use dirty channel to add extra gain to fuzz; which works really well because its inherent treble boost keeps it from getting overly smooshy.

Re: Booze-ters
I used to use both a CC/DC and a Blowing Up!
CC/DC is without a doubt the most musical boost pedal I've ever used. Blowing Up is one of the greatest distortion pedals. Balls out.
The Hi Five I used to own was the perfect middleground.

This. And it's also decent as a normal booster on the low gain settings I think

This, Sparkle Motion can do pretty much any sort of boost incredibly well

Re: Booze-ters
I use a SHO boost to make my clean tone kick more balls. Gives the illusion of being heavy but still sounding clean. I don't know if that makes sense. I like using clean boosts so I can punch people in the face with loudness rather than distortion. And when its time to have some fun, I can turn on my TAFM with a good blend and just be even heavier and louder. Its the best.
I also used to use more sparkly clean boosts like The Devi punch love/25 into fuzzes that don't let much clear high end through, like the Soda Meiser. A sparkly boost turns the SM into a more chord friendly fuzz that can do octavia stuff rather than its normal scrambled octavia muff sound.
I also have to support the CC/DC, used that guy way back when I didn't have an English Muff'n. Loved that guy.

Nano LPB-1! It´s cool and cheap, does the trick. Cuts some bass and adds some hiss but fuck it.
Used it to boost the Fuzz War i had before for some awesome sounds, crushing octave-ish ripping your face off tonez!
I had a SHO clone, i didnt like it. Too clean.

Re: Booze-ters
i heart my Hi Five. i use it at the front of the chain to balance the input level of my different guitars, and occasionally to add a little grit.
if i had unlimited pedalboard space and budget, i'd get a Fairfield Barbershop. they're totally underrated...i got to try one as part of the tourbox and it's a beautiful, clear, responsive boost at low gain settings. if the people at TGP ever got hip, Guillaume would be busy for the rest of his life.

I've got a Blowing Up and I love the thing. Had Lawrence add in a momentary switch so I can do sudden bursts of shit. Also great for pushing weird sustain when you're ringing out.
Planning on picking up a Mini soon...hopefully...finances permitting. God I need a better job.
