I just want to say I dont hate on sleep at all... I mean I do have a Laney AOR for petes sake!!! I just think OMs music is more personal and intense. I LOVEEEEEEE holy mountain - i think the mixes are classic, but it is so dry and almost boring in a way. I know it adds to the charm, significantly. I had a bad experience with dopesmoker, so I am a but of a jaded participant. I couldn't fall asleep one night, whilst crashing on a good friends floor, and Dopesmoker was blasting. I thought - oh it might be cool to pass out to dopesmoker - instead I stayed up for the entirety of it and I was upset that I wasn't asleep. I was mad that I was still awake. Honestly, I have never listened to dopesmoker again because I was a bit haunted by the situation. but holy mountain kicks my ass!!!

In reality, if i truly had to chose it would be sleep>OM, because dragonaut is the catchiest, sexiest riff. but OM is more intense, personal, and spiritual so i naturally gravitate towards that.


Still fuzzy neil young>OM or sleep.
