This is what annoys me. You tell me 15-16 weeks so i plan things around a 4-5 month timeframe. i have my shit paid off in advance of that and (and this was probably stupid on my part) start getting rid gear that will become a dust magnet as soon as my axe is finished. I played all the available egcs even going to see a band i dont even really like three hours away to try theirs. I loved them all. It just annoys me when i get a time quote and make damn sure i have shit payed by that time and ready then wait around for two or three times the length of the original quote.

Yeah. Not sure what gives. I've just had enough experience with custom work to know things usually don't go as planned. I've also heard stories of EGC specifically in taking much longer than quoted. Much research and self debating went into the decision. But I know I want one and since what I want is custom I know I have to wait, so I might as well start waiting. I also couldn't afford to buy one outright or even in the time frame quoted, at least not without selling off some things I'd rather not sell. So I try not to let it get me down.

I'd love to give it a go! Haha. I'll bring my amps etc and we can jam!
It's probably a stretch, but maybe a lefty guy with an EGC bass or guitar?
I just want to see how they feel etc.
