LOL! I know you're fucking around.

I actually avoid the Doom Room other than what was going on the other day. Mostly people don't talk about anything important in any Doom Room I've ever seen.

Plus muffs aren't always that good. I like a muff but only when it's being colored by another pedal.

If you hate mids, the fz-2 is pretty good at bringing the low end on bass. The two band eq let's you dial it in pretty well.

How could anyone answer that question badly? :?:

Because the answers! Lots of TBers will say Bass Big Muff, MXR Bass Fuzz (might be alright). Then the ones that don't now the difference between Fuzz and OD will say Tech21 VT Bass, etc.

I agree with a lot on this thread and will throw in an odd ball answer, Frantone Lo-Tone. Super awesome vintagey fuzz with lots of low end.

Heh, I'm just foolin'. I know you mean "on topic" but it's a funny use of the word "important" when talking about guitar effects on an internet forum called I<3Fuzz. :p

Anyway. I have yet to try the Baby Thundaa or any of the others you're currently using but they sound awesome. Have you tried a Dirt Transmitter? Maybe not quite the low end you're looking for but really an awesome pedal nonetheless.

Just thought of another, I bet the bass Algal Bloom is fucking amazing. The normal one sounds NICE on bass but does lose low end, I'm sure the bass version sorts that out and keeps the great AB sound.

Found a nice eBay deal on a Baby Thundaa and purchased that mutha because of this thread. Hoping for the bass fuzz to shame all the others I've tried over the years, fingers crossed.

I'll let ya know how it goes real soon here...

i've had almost every fuzz listed here and the on that takes the cake in the low end department is:

(and they get no love around here for some reason or another)

Skreddy Supa Tone

Mark my words. Amazing for bass, amazing for guitar.

Oh wow. WOW.

I know earlier in this thread I mentioned the TFR - and I still think that has a great dose of creamy low end - but I've since received an ECT, and now I truly understand what MASSIVE low end is. This thing is a beast. It is an explosively charged box of raging green rumble.

It also seems like I can't get a bad tone out of this pedal. So far no matter the settings or switches engaged, everything sounds good - in different ways of course, but good nonetheless.

I haven't been this excited about a pedal for a long, long time, if ever. Exciting days lay ahead playing around with this animal. I cannot wait.
